Make Your Mark Contest Launch

We are excited to announce that Cereplast, the leader in manufacturing bioplastics, has opened their nationwide design competition, “Make Your Mark,” in search of a symbol that represents “bioplastics.” The symbol will indicate that a product is made from “green,” bio-based material, not petroleum-based material.

Make Your Mark Contest Announcement

On January 3, 2011, Cereplast will launch a design contest for a new bioplastics symbol. The winner will receive $25,000. Watch the video today and stay tuned for official contest rules and details. What will the new symbol be? That’s up to the voting public and our distinguished panel of judges who include creator of the recycling symbol, Gary Anderson, and top designer Karim Rashid.
