Cereplast® creates bioplastic resin pellets with up to 70% less petroleum content than conventional plastics.
Manufacturers use the plastic pellets to make goods for a wide range of markets from furniture to medical to construction.
These products have an enhanced sustainability, reduce our dependence on petroleum resources and can be recycled.
Cereplast Sustainables resins are biobased, replacing up to 90% of the petroleum content used in traditional plastics. The resins are suitable for durable applications and can be used in a range of markets including automotive, consumer goods, fashion accessories, consumer electronics, medical packaging, cosmetics packaging, toys, furniture, office supplies, home accessories, and construction.
Cereplast Sustainables resins are cost-competitive with traditional petroleum-based plastic resins. With significantly more of the resin content derived from plant starches, pricing is not as influenced by the volatile and rising prices of oil.
